Myer Fashion Festival - Race Day Essentials

Happy Friday everyone... So glad its Friday and the weekend is upon us again. This Friday's 'Fashion Friday' post is going to be all about the Myer Fashion Festival Races at Randwick tomorrow, this is one fashion event you DONT want to miss. I will be there with my team as we snap some great pictures and report who we thought was best dressed on the day. The 'theme' of the day is Black & White and what better blogger to be there only me 'TheBlackandWhiteBoard' ;) ;)

So what are my race essentials ??

1. Dress - Dress to impress

Race day is all about having fun, dressing up and feeling sexy. Pick a dress that you feel comfortable in and that you like. There is no point wearing a dress that you can't breath in or sit down in. Always follow the dress code when they have a set colour theme :) This year is all back and white.

2. Accessories

Your accessories should be fun, and should stand out. Race day normally means fascinators, hats and hair pieces. This is our excuse to go wild :)

Your bag should be big enough to be able to carry your make up, phone and wallet, don't opt for the tiny bags ladies you cannot carry a thing in these and are not practical for a day long event. 

3. Camera ( for a blogger )

You need a great camera that's really going to capture the amazing style, and atmosphere and what better camera to have on the day then the new Sony A7.... :)

4. Make Up

You need make up that's going to stay in place and last all day. Try using a setting spray, a good non smudge lipstick and a good foundation and setting powder. Anything to keep you looking beautiful all day :) I think every woman will agree the importance of your make up staying in place :) ITS A MUST !!!!!!!!
