Festival Fashion Tips - 2014 by thewhiteboard featuring mesh baseball caps
Festival Fashion is being demanded more and more from bloggers each year as hundreds and thousands of festival goers attend some of the biggest festivals in the world. This weekend saw the start of Coachella, which is one of the biggest music and art festivals in the world. It’s a 2 part festival which showcases over two weekends between the 11-13th April and the 18-20th April.
What are your favourite festival pieces?
Festival Fashion is being demanded more and more from bloggers each year as hundreds and thousands of festival goers attend some of the biggest festivals in the world. This weekend saw the start of Coachella, which is one of the biggest music and art festivals in the world. It’s a 2 part festival which showcases over two weekends between the 11-13th April and the 18-20th April.
This year so far has been a huge success seeing so
many artists perform and attend the event. Some of the festival fashion that
caught my eye came from Kendal & Kylie Jenner, Beyonce, Katy Perry,
Alessandra Ambrosio and Fergie. These ladies rocked the festival fashion over
the two days.
Festival fashion is all about comfort and of course staying
stylish, what is in style for 2014 I hear you asking?
1. Denim shorts
Ok so this remains the same year in and year out especially
if it’s a summer festival. Denim shorts can be worn with pretty much anything.
That’s the great thing about denim shorts; they are stylish, comfortable and
can be paired with anything a tee, a jumper, boots, flats runners. Anything is
possible.
2. Head Bands & Hats
This year so far has seen a lot of headbands and Sarah
Hyland rocked the daisy chain headpiece over the weekend. A hat can keep the
sun off your face, keep your hair in place and you can really add your own
style to any look by adding some hair accessories.
3. Accessories, Accessories, Accessories
The more the merrier in my opinion, you can never over
accessories at a music festival. What I love about festivals is you get to
dress however you like. If that means layers of necklaces, and rings and some
over sized sunnies then you can rock it and not care.
4. Converse & Ankle Boots
You need to be comfortable at a festival. If that means
switching sandals for converse or flip-flops for ankle boots then do it. Comfort is your number one priority, and
converse can work with pretty much anything, which is great.
Until next time....
Stay Stylish xoxo
