Make Up Look - How to Recreate this Day Look

I know a lot of you have been asking me about my make up and make up looks. This is one really simple quick day look that can be achieved in 20 minutes Max. Its simple, easy to do and makes a difference. The main focus here is the eye's and eye make up.

What Products did I use ?

Christopher Eyebrow Kit
Moleskin Mac Eye Shadow
Black Track - Mac Eye Liner
Clarins - Mascara
Mac - Refined Golden Bronzer
Illamasqua Primer / Foundation
Illamasqua Setting powder
Illamasqua - Sophie Blush

As You can see In the top two pictures is I just have my foundation on. My main focus in these pictures is on the left hand side, as this is the side that I worked on as I wanted to compare this look.

  1. In Picture one I have just applied primer, foundation on my skin
  2. Using Christopher Brow kit, fill in any gaps and make your eyebrows look thicker and more full
  3. Apply Moleskin to the lid of the eye, then using your bender brush blend this in the crease of the eye. You want to get rid of the harsh line. The reason you blend is to make it blend in to the eye getting rid of any heavy lines.
  4. Apply Black Track eye liner, always apply a thin line in the inner corner of the eye bringing it out slightly as you get half way across the eye. Follow your eye shape and always remember (TIP using a cotton bud and dipping this in eye make up remover can get rid of any mistakes and allows you to start again)
  5. Apply Mascara to the top lashes ensuring that the full lash is covered from root to tip
  6. Apply some moleskin eye shadow under the lower lashes just to give it a more lined look

7. Apply your bronzer and blusher
8. Apply a light lip colour
9. Finish with some translucent powder just to keep your make up in place all day. Apply this all over the face.

And that is that…. Its that simple …… Quick, Easy and a great day look. As you can see in the photos for me its all about the eyes. It changes my look straight away. I always apply top liner, and only at night time will I apply bottom liner. This just gives me more of a dramatic look.

I hope you find this post helpful. I love Make Up and I love creating fun, quick looks. Make Up is all about making you feel good, and experimenting and knowing what works for you.

Until Next time….
